Macy Peterson- CMHC
I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University, as well as a Master’s in School Counseling and a Bachelor’s in Human Service Management from the University of Phoenix.
My approach to therapy is person-centered, tailored to meet each client’s unique needs. I am passionate about guiding individuals through meaningful therapeutic change using the modalities that best serve them. In addition to individual counseling, I specialize in working with couples and teens. My experience includes helping clients navigate trauma, substance abuse, anxiety, and stress, and I also offer life coaching to support personal growth and transformation. I am trained in DBT, EMDR, and ACT. No matter where you are in your journey, I am here to help you overcome obstacles, rediscover your light, and step into your highest self.
Beyond traditional therapy, I incorporate holistic healing practices such as energy mapping, inner soul sound bed therapy, and LENS Neurofeedback, further enhancing the mind-body-spirit connection that is central to my work.
Outside of my practice, I cherish time with my husband, four daughters and six (almost seven) grand babies. When I find a spare moment, I indulge my love for writing and am currently working on completing a novel.
