Melanie Elder- LCSW

Melanie Elder was born and raised in beautiful Cache Valley. She received a Masters degree in social work, in 2010, from Utah State University. Melanie has worked in community health counseling since 2010 and loves being able to serve the community.

 

Melanie provides mental health counseling for individuals, couples and families. She has training and experience providing counseling to young children, teens, and adults. She assists patients in addressing a wide variety of mental health topics and conditions utilize an eclectic mix of modalities, including: EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Play Therapy, ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy), Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention).

 

She speaks Spanish and lived in South America for several years. Her family enjoys boating, roasting marshmallows, and mountain biking!
