MSW

I'm working towards a Master’s degree in social work at Utah State University, but my true education has come from a lifetime of collecting experiences that have created in me a deep well of perspective, compassion and empathy. These lived experiences have taught me a great deal about compassion for both self and others, as well as what resilience and capacity can truly look like. I am a believer that when utilized in the right way, the challenges we face in life are the very things that can become the fuel for personal growth and healing.

I believe that regardless of where we are in our journey, we already hold within us what we need to become whole. At the core of my work is the simple conviction that every human possesses unique values and strengths and drawing upon these ideals throughout the process creates individual empowerment and lasting change. I also am deeply convinced that sustained healing comes from integrating mind and body. Often we try to think our way out of difficulties and pain without realizing the toll it takes on our physical bodies. When we allow our body and mind to work together, we facilitate greater healing and well-being.

I enjoy working with people from all stages of life, and am especially passionate about helping children and teens navigate big emotions and find value, resilience, and capacity in themselves and in their experiences.
